Historical Background / Description:
Burnham’s Bust is located at the junction of Kitty Public Road and Vlissengen Road. It was unveiled by Dr. Ptolemy Alexander Reid on October 5, 1986, in memory of President Linden Forbes Sampson Burnham. The monument which was sculpted by Mr. Ivor Thom, depicts the head, shoulder and chest of the late president. It was sculpted using bronze and its base was cast using granite stones.
